Our free genealogy workshops will take place again in October. Don’t miss the chance to learn from our pros each Wednesday from 1 to 3 pm in Meeting Room C on the Lobby Level of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.
October 3rd: Overview of Genealogy Source Materials with Terry Nelson (1-2 pm) and U.S. Census with Thomas Jones (2-3 pm).
October 10th: Genealogy on the Internet with Beverly Sullivan (1-3 pm).
October 17th: Immigration Records with Wayne Dowdy (1-2 pm) and Military Records with Jim Johnson (2-3 pm).
October 24th: Courthouse Records with Bettie Davis (1-3 pm).
October 31st: Tour of Genealogy Resources in the History Department with the Staff (1-3 pm).

May 22 – Preserving Family Records (conducted by Wayne Dowdy) and Preserving Family Photographs (conducted by Terry Thompson)
May 29 – Tour featuring Microfilm Reader/Printers and Genealogy Resources in the History Department

First session begins at 5:45 pm and second session begins at 6:45 pm.
