Thanks to the hard work of the fine folks over at the Shelby County Archives, you can now search through many more of our Memphis city directories online! 1849 – 1943 are now available in their entirety, with more to come.
They’ve also added a number of other resources recently: Probate Will Book Indexes (1956-1980); Birth Records (1907-1912); the Hugo N. Dixon Memoirs; and Elmwood Cemetery Daily Burial Records (1853-1919).
