Help Wanted

Do you love history?  Have you been searching for a great volunteer opportunity?  Would you want to work… from home?!

We are seeking volunteers to transcribe the documents that are added to the digital archive.  This very important work will allow the documents to be full-text searchable, aiding researchers for years to come.  Volunteers should be computer-literate, and if you want to volunteer from outside the library, you will need a computer and an internet connection.

So, if this sounds like something you might be interested in, please contact the History Department.  (Our contact information is in the right-hand column.)

Oh, and if computer-based work is not your thing or you just don’t admire 19th century handwriting, we are always looking for volunteers to help preserve and process other collections in the archives.  Just give us a call…
